First reference to the property appears within a deed of 1476 but little of this original structure survives today.

Additions have been added over the centuries, the latest being the barn conversion to a high standard during 2006.

Adjoining the main house [but with its own separate entrance] The Apple Barn has been tastefully furnished and decorated throughout, giving a country living atmosphere, with a contemporary feel.

The Apple Barn sits in the middle of the 34 acres of very private land including a reserve for wildlife, some very rare, living in & around the water areas.

The Apple Barn is only available for a number of weeks each year, allowing time for the resident owners to maintain the quality accommodation in the condition everyone hopes to find when they arrive.

Guests are welcome to wander through the fields or fish for the brown trout in the ponds.

The Apple Barn offers an escape from the pace of life where one can simply sit & watch dragonflies duel over the water or just walk in complete privacy enjoying nature.
